Getting Started

Putting On Your Hip Seat Carrier

PRO TIP — Practice in Front of a Mirror:

Before venturing out, get comfortable using your carrier at home. Practicing in front of a mirror is a great way to gain confidence and master your technique.

#1: Hold both ends of the carrier making sure that the hip seat is against your lower back.
Preparing Your Hip Seat
Hold both ends of the carrier making sure that the hip seat is against your lower back.
#2: Fold the left flap over your stomach and secure the right flap over the velcro making sure the carrier is snug around your waist.
Wrap Around Waist
Fold the left flap over your stomach and secure the right flap over the velcro making sure the carrier is snug around your waist.
#3: Thread the waist buckle through the safety elastic loop, then fasten the buckle until you hear a click. Pull straps to tighten and ensure a snug, secure fit.

#4: Turn hip seat from your back to your hip or in front of your stomach to place baby on carrier.

Carrying Positions

Explore the different carrying positions available with the Hip Seat to find the best fit for you and your baby.

With the carrier on any side of your hip, place baby on hip seat. Ensure baby is straddling the seat and facing you. Always support baby  with at least one hand.
Side Carry
With the carrier on any side of your hip, place baby on hip seat. Ensure baby is straddling the seat and facing you. Always support baby with at least one hand.
Turn hip seat from hips to the front of your stomach.
Switching to Front Carry
Turn hip seat from hips to the front of your stomach.
Place baby on hip seat facing you. Ensure  baby is centered and straddling the seat. Always support baby with at least one hand.
Front Carry - Parent Facing
Place baby on hip seat facing you. Ensure baby is centered and straddling the seat. Always support baby with at least one hand.
Place baby on hip seat facing away from you. Ensure  baby is centered and straddling the seat. Always support baby with at least one hand.
Front Carry - World Facing
Place baby on hip seat facing away from you. Ensure baby is centered and straddling the seat. Always support baby with at least one hand.
